Case Study: Miles & Son Ltd., Bagworth, Leics

Job Description:

This Purpose built grain shed was a big test for all involved as this was installed in July 2012 when there was two weeks of torrential rain. Our installation teams worked seamlessly with the builders and roofing teams to time the jobs just in time for the other elements to be completed and hit the feed in tariff deadline. The system size of 25.0 kWp and is made up of 100 x Suntech 250w panels, which have the Ammonia and salt accreditation that can be used for life stock.

We estimated that the system would produce 21,144kWh per year, saving them over £1,500 in electricity costs and generating just over £3,600 a year from the feed-in tariff. This sizable return on investment means the system will have paid for itself in just eight years.
